Limaca Precision-GITM enters the US market

("Limaca") launched its motorized automated endoscopic device Precision-GITM for echoendoscopy-guided biopsies (EUS) in the US market. Thanks to its motorized, automated and rotary cutting mechanism , Precision-GITM allows to obtain samples of high quality fabrics in greater quantity for histopathological and molecular analyses, with less blood contamination and increased efficiency in one passage .

The Dr Carlos Robles-Medranda, MD, FASGE, AGAF , and his team of IECED Medical Centre successfully conducted a clinical trial involving 40 patients . The study focused mainly on biopsies guided by echoendoscopy of solid mass pancreas , as well as from liver and other masses in or near the gastrointestinal tract.

The results were exceptional, demonstrating the Precision-GITM to provide samples of consistent and high quality biopsy , optimizing both tissue quality and procedural efficiency .
